The vision of The Center for Wisdom and Compassion was to preserve and make available the wealth of teachings from the Buddhist tradition of Tibet, as openly and widely as possible, and in forms most attuned to the lives and needs of modern men and women, while also offering those following the Buddhist teachings a complete path of study and practice, along with the environment they need to explore the teachings to their fullest. The Center is part of an international network of Rigpa centers and groups in sixteen countries around the world under the guidance of Sogyal Rinpoche.
It has now been sold to the Town of Berne and has become the Switzkill Farm.
